Whether you have acute or chronic neck pain, the discomfort can prevent you from completing tasks throughout the day. Along with that, the pain can become chronic without proper treatment. At Papa Chiropractic and Physical Therapy in Jupiter, Port St. Lucie, and Palm Beach Gardens, FL, we offer various treatments, such as chiropractic adjustments, to alleviate your aches and help you heal. Before you visit us, learn how adjustments offer lasting relief below!

Causes of Neck Pain

Neck pain can develop from various sources, such as poor posture or auto accident injuries. Some other causes of the pain include:

  • Whiplash
  • Auto accident injuries
  • Pinched nerves
  • Arthritis
  • Misalignments
  • Herniated discs
  • Sprains and strains

How Chiropractic Adjustments Relieve Neck Pain

Chiropractic adjustments help with neck pain by addressing misalignments in the cervical spine that can cause nerve irritation and muscle tension. By restoring proper alignment, these adjustments reduce inflammation and improve joint mobility. This process often results in significant pain relief and enhanced neck function.

Complementary Treatments for Lasting Results

In addition to adjustment, our chiropractors may recommend additional methods for neck pain. Some of these methods include the following:

  • Targeted Exercises: Targeted exercises can increase neck range of motion and flexibility. Not only that, but they can also reduce strain and prevent neck pain from reoccurring.
  • Physical Therapy: This therapy addresses neck pain by using specialized techniques to improve joint mobility and ease muscle tension. With personalized treatments, we can enhance neck strength and stability, which contributes to lasting relief.
  • Lifestyle Changes: Our chiropractors may recommend lifestyle modifications, such as improving posture and incorporating regular neck exercises to alleviate pain. Ergonomic adjustments to your workspace and stress management also play a crucial role in reducing discomfort and supporting neck health.
